    @shayes287 I would suggest Google Fi. It runs on T-Mobile and US Cellular. US Cellular won't help you in Alabama but I think they have good coverage other places in the South.

    @paulvixie AT&T isn't as bad as Sprint was (pre-merger), Sprint was a catastrophe Fortunately I went T-Mobile pre-merger, and used AT&T and Verizon MVNOs on a second phone.T-Mo is the only carrier where OnePlus has 5G (although I might switch back to Pixel when it comes upgrade time).
